This is one of my more recent pieces of work, where I've experimented with different automation techniques and incorporated piano in aswell.
In this piece my main focus was to experiment with drum sequencing, however also smoothly contrasting it with some keys. A bit of a slow start but getting a smooth arrangement is one of the things I'm working on.
My goal for this piece was to progress my knowledge in sound manipulation, using synthesisers and samples to create a darker vibe, influenced by modern drill tracks.
My aim was to incorporate my learned techniques in drum sequencing/arrangement and vocal sample manipulation to mostly gain experience and have fun with this one, as I tend to do with most of my tracks.
This showcase has mostly been seeking to portray my ability to create a diverse representation of my skills and my experimentation with different genres. In the future, I hope to develop my skills to a point where the software and hardware is merely an extension of myself, allowing me to fully express my emotions and thoughts.
